The Center of Creative Dance, Inc. Wilmette, Il. has served the dance community for 25 years. Classes at the Center combine the study of ballet, modern & Jazz dance and choreography. Students graduate with a well-rounded dance education. Each year, through auditions, several students are awarded Dance or Arts Scholarships to major colleges, universities and conservatories. Students from the Center have also been chosen for parts in The Nutcracker, and from national auditions to dance with Interlocken Arts Camp, the pre-professional summer programs of The Joffrey Ballet and had roles in theater, light opera works and with dance companies at University of Michigan, Wellesly College, University of Utah, Northwestern University, University of Illinois, Dartmouth College, Indiana University, Julliard in New York and North Carolina School of the Arts. Our modern dance students have been selected for pre-professional summer programs with Jose Limon and Alvin Ailey in New York.

Curriculum: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced & pre-professional levels: Ballet, Pointe, choreography, Modern & Jazz dance techniques, music appreciation, creativity and variations.

Beginning division: children 4 yrs - 8 yrs and Dance is Fun classes for Beginning Teens Ballet, Creative Dance, Introduction to Jazz Dance.

Adult Programs: Ballet/exercise, Modern Dance & AjNa Yoga.

Dance Therapy: Dance and creative movement instruction for children with special needs is offered in private one on one sessions to better benefit the student.
